Our Spontaneous Trip to Philly...

Hey everyone, I posted this on my own blog, but I think I will start posted them here as well. I am trying to get caught up.

Highlights of our Trip:

Independence Hall

Benjamin Franklin Park

(Lainey and Hudson couldn't get enough of the teeter totter. Bless these little Asian girls that kept it going until we FINALLY pulled them off!)

Liberty Bell

Feeding the Birds

Swimming which is ALL Hudson could talk about.

MATER

Hudson just couldn't stand that Mater was parked right across the street from us the whole time we were there. We HAD to get a picture.

(can't you just see the love in his face)

Chinese Cuisine in Chinatown

A Little Reese's Love
(don't think I haven't eaten 5 Reese's Eggs since Sunday)

And who can't go to Philly without a little ROCKY action, camo style!!

We loved our trip....it was quick but a lot of fun. Time is winding down here in Pittsburgh. Only one year left- well I guess it could be three more after that... (deep sigh). Regardless, we have to take advantage of every minute.

LET'S GO IDAHO!

Well it took us eight hours until we finally caught our first fish, but after that it was lights out! We landed 10 fish, had 7 break our lines, and 4 others that the hook just popped out of their mouths (we have to use barbless hooks). But it was flippin off the hook! Mom caught two all by herself!!!!
Its 10 here right now so Mom said she will fill you in on the details tommorrow. Tight lines to ya!

We have been waiting!

So where is the Steelhead Fishing Derby Duel report? We can't wait to see the MONSTER Steelhead they have out in Idaho. Here is a sample pic of our fish. We each had 2-3 on our lines, but Ty landed the only steelhead. We caught about 50 stocker fish each and 3-4 suckers each. We had a pretty slow day, but it was fun. We are looking forward to seeing yours!

PS the picture of the Sucker looks like he was snagged, but he just got tangled in the line after we took the fly out of his mouth.

Sorry I don't know how to fix that text on the side so you are just going to have to read it like that....Sorry

Fun in the Sun!!!

Well it has been FOREVER since I posted something on the blog so I thought it was time to check in. If some of you didn't know, I went to visit marci in cali for spring break. It was such a nice break, and again thanks marce for letting us stay and hang out with you. So Rachelle, my friend Kelsey, and I got in the car Tuesday night and started our journey to the west coast. We drove that night to St. George and woke up early in the morning on Wednesday to complete our journey to Cali!!! We finally arrived around 4 o'clock Wednesday evening at marci's adorable house. She lives in the cutest house ever and it made me want to move to California with her. Especially the fact that now I am the ONLY one who lives in Utah. How did we all start out living here and now I am the only one left? I think either someone has to move back or I have to move away..... Sorry that was a side note, but we had a trip of a life time. So Wednesday we watched Marci rock her softball game (she was way better than anyone else on the team including guys). Thursday Marci unfortunately had to work all day so we got the bikes out and drove down to the beach. I rode Marci's bike which later found out it was the hardest bike to ride because it was so cheap:) It actually made me feel better because it seemed that I was dying way more than Rachelle and Kels. Friday we enjoyed a day at Disneyland. Luckily, I did not have to pay because Marci had an extra pass which was a good thing because I did not really want to go to Disneyland in the first place. I think I inherited that from dad.... But me and marci hung out in the land where dreams do come true til about three. That is all we could handle of the magical place, plus it was super busy that day. So me and marci left and went home. Saturday was a pretty relax day. We hung out, went shopping, and just got ready for the trek back home. Sunday we woke up early and started driving. We stopped in Mesquite for church and arrived in Ptown around seven o'clock.

I was so sad to leave. I miss being around family and I miss spending time with my sisters. Oh last night we had a ward talent show and some girls reenacted that scene for White Christmas "Sisters....Sisters....there was never such devoted sisters". It made me miss you sooooo much. Can we please not live so far away from each other. Its not worth it. Anyways I just wanted to say hi and tell you what has been going on. I love you all with all my heart and miss you immensely. Please post stuff on the blog. Somehow it makes me feel like you are closer when you do.

Love you

Jones

Well we finally got moms' car back from the shop. We bought the car on friday gave them a check about 6:30 pm and almost totaled the whole car the next morning on our way home on saturday. All I can say is insurance has finally paid off during 2008-9 for us!

On thursday two weeks ago, we finally bought 2 used trucks for spreading. We are phasing out the parma spreaders that we have been using for the last 2 years. We are launching COMPOSTRUCKS.com. In 10 years of spreading I haven't found the spreader yet, so we're going to build them and sell them. That way we can subsidize our operation and sell some trucks too. These are 40 ton 6X6 trucks. Anyway nuff of that.

Are you people reading 2 pages of the BofM daily? What about prayers?
Are we good? No missing church! got it? These are not times to be slacking! The next item: we should all be writing these things in our journals! We are making history. The mess that we are in will turn into a depression. Just count on it and prepare. Stay out of debt. Fix up or go without. Get some cash on hand. Everyday these liberals are digging a deeper hole for us all. Record your thoughts about all this as it unfolds. This is a major deal. The only peace you will get is following the prophet. So get polished up, peel some onion if you need to and get ready for some revelation. It's coming on April 4-5th. So, get her done!
