Other random Pics

We went to Soergels yesterday and took some other random pics. I guess there are quite a few that were not taken there- some from camping and hiking. Love you!

Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween from all of us in Pittsburgh! We had a great time. Here is Hudson as the mummy- he was very scary of course. Tate was a dinosaur- I had to improve and make his costume the day of the party because he would NOT be the spooky wa-wa. (The big bad wolf). I was actually pretty mad at him because that is probably my favorite costume of all time, but he just would not have anything to do with the fur hood. And then I spent all day making the dinosaur and he still threw a fit and didn't want to wear it. I almost lost my mind. And Luke is of course the little lion. We tried the costume on him the night before the party and honestly he started this screaming/growling sound that has been progressively getting worse. He was screaming non stop at Stake Conference today- making this unbelievable screeching noise that was disrupting everyone around us. Of course they were laughing, but I definitely was not. But he is cute none the less.

Anyway, we love and miss you all.

We NEED more days like this.

What an awesome day of sledding this was. We had a blast spending the New Year celebration at our now favorite vacation spot.....Henry's Lake. Tim and I decided we will definitely be purchasing some real estate at some point up there- so many fun things to do and all surrounded by amazing scenery. You honestly cannot get much better than that. It definitely left an impression on the boys......Hudson is STILL asking when we are going to Yellowstone to swim in the Hot Tub. Everything was so great and we had such a fun time hanging out, playing monopoly and having dart wars. Hudson keeps asking me "when am I going to get a gun like Grandpa". I tell him I don't know- that he was pretty lucky with all the toys he got for Christmas and he responds with, "mom, maybe I can get it probably for my birthday." The kid is relentless. He told me today "he has a wot of toys from Santa, but not berry many." Of course he doesn't ever even scratch the surface of playing with everything he has.

Anyway, thank you again a million times over for everything. It was fun to have a Idaho experience yet again- one that will definitely go down in the books........ duck hunting, coyote hunting, elk hunting.. (Am I forgetting any other HUNTING???) Redge, you were seriously such a trooper! I really wish I had pictures of Hudson plucking his first duck and apparently playing with its cut off head. He was so proud to see that miniature, charcoaled duck sitting on the pan New Years Eve.... and I have to say it was mighty fine duck!

And the last picture pretty much sums up what I am feeling right now- completely wasted- although add a knife piercing me in my right shoulder blade and the foot jabbing my rib from the inside out.... this baby better come soon.

Love you and miss you all!

For Redge...

Your training skills are like none other. This dog definitely responded well and really wanted to go home with you after it was all over. You have a gift- and yet I wonder how that gift would have held up with Duke in the same situation.........course, we would have gladly given him to you at the end of the day. :)

Millie's Birth Announcement

Tell Me which one you like more.......

Sorry to keep you waiting.....

I know it has taken me forever to post these and I even told Shelane I would get them up last week- She is probably dying waiting- but here are a few of Millie's pics. She was not having anything to do with sleeping- but we improvised.

Love you and hope you like them. We will get more in June.

Tanis

PS. Hudson keeps getting on the computer and scrolling through her pictures and just keeps saying "Mom, she is so cute" over and over again. We were so glad we were able to see her.
