HERE ARE JUST THE BEGINNINGS OF MY MUSINGS!

Watching Richard come up for our 2 pages of the Book of Mormon ritual with the blanket over his head, slam down on the big couch and wondering to myself, "is he getting anything out of this" and hoping heaven will help us.

Feeling the roar of the engine and the feel of the road under me as I became DERBY DAD each Friday going to football, wrestling and of course drill team competitions.

Feeling once again that after much planning, debating and preparation every time we poured cement the, "IT'S GETTING AWAY FROM US!"

The sheer terror of Marci running up to mom and me with the letter spike stuck clear through the palm of her hand, well almost. The skin was stretched on the backside about an inch but hadn't come through. I told her to look away and quickly pulled it out.

State Championship Football Games!! Two Senior Boys-Two Champions, It doesn't get better than that!!!!

Remembering saying "this is going to hurt me more than you" just after the boys had chosen their willows and were about to get whacked.

Waking up one fine fall morning in the fifth wheel and looking down on Richard to see his face smothered with honey that had been dripping on his face all night.

Wondering what in the crap was going to happen when we would wake Richard up to go to bed. What would it be? Sleep walking? A few simple mumbles? Or some horrendous ordeal?

Tanis screaming at a tone only dogs could hear until it came down into human range and wondering how are we going to survive this? And better yet, how are we going to break her of this?

Praying each day that Joni and Mom would get back from ballet safely.

Paying off the leases of 2 consecutive cars that were over mileage by HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of miles.

Watching Tyler and Richard try to sleep on the tanks between loads out on the runway.

Watching Tyler jump off the big tank down on a smaller one and break right thru it into potassium hydroxide of 14 ph!!!

Cleaning Tanks!!!!! THE JOY of unadvanced Ag!!

The exhilaration of a Millard High School Drill Team Championship and the agony of defeat!

Watching the kids jump off the big tanks onto the tramp.

Watching the kids and adults scatter when I unhooked Duke.

I savor the memories of those wonderful days in the garden, trying to teach the kids how and what to weed out.

How beautiful the girls looked in their Prom Dresses.

Sunday afternoon naps. It was and is the best. I need one right now, BYE

LOVE, DAD
